Become The Change You Wish To See

At Aujla Salon and Spa, we remain committed to several community initiatives. To support an initiative, contact our team - info@aujlasalonspa.com

The Farmers Protest

No Farmers, No Food – With the largest protest in human history currently among us, it has become increasingly more important to stay informed. The farmer's protest reflects the recent change of three distinctive agricultural bills in India, sanctioned by the Indian government. The enforcement of these particular bills has not only threatened the livelihood of farmers across India but has received minimal attention from mainstream media channels across the globe. Amidst the peaceful protest, many protesters have been brutally attacked, unfairly jailed, and wrongfully tear-gassed. At Aujla Salon and Spa, we stand with farmers – we understand now, more than ever, the importance of utilizing our social platforms to raise awareness on a human rights violation of this magnitude. Together, we can amplify the voices of the voiceless.

Food Bank Initiative

With an unwavering commitment to our community, we have partnered with Global Medic to purchase, package, and deliver food to local food banks across the Greater Toronto Area. Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, many families across the GTA have suffered economic hardship, notably those living in poverty. We have utilized our time and resources to aid individuals who have been directly impacted by the pandemic. It is important to note, we must work collectively to ensure public safety, as we must stop the spread through protocol and safety regulation. A very special thank you to all our front-line workers for risking their lives daily in service to the public.

Toys for Tots

Having garnered a strong presence within our community, we seek to utilize our platform to inspire the South Asian public through philanthropy and humanitarianism. With that said, Aujla Salon and Spa is proud to support Toys for Tots, a charitable campaign founded by the Peel Police, The Salvation Army, and Canadian Tire (1993). During the holiday season, we wish to grant every child - particularly underprivileged children – a series of gifts. To demonstrate our commitment, we have personally matched every donation provided by our clients. We are eternally grateful to our friends, family, and clientele for their continued support.

Black Lives Matter

At Aujla Salon and Spa, we recognize the inherent value of every client, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and religion. Twenty-twenty has been a landmark year, as a series of injustices against the black community have reminded us of the systemic racism which exists within the fabric of our country. It is important to recognize our privilege and use this opportunity to demand change from the social institutions that reinforce these inequalities. We choose to be an ally, as to be silent is to be complicit. Change begins from within.
